Aortic dissection model
Aortic dissection (AD) is a critical and severe condition in clinical practice. It is caused by multiple factors that tear the intima and partial media of the aorta, which are then impacted by intravascular blood flow and separated along the longitudinal axis to form a connected or disconnected true and false lumen of the aortic wall. β-aminopropionitrile (BAPN) can be added to the feed in combination with angiotensin II (Ang II) to induce establishment.

Thioacetamide (TAA) is a hepatotoxic substance that can reduce the content of P450 in liver cell nuclei, inhibit respiratory metabolic enzyme activity in liver cell nuclei, increase liver cell DNA synthesis and mitosis, and lead to cirrhosis. The liver cirrhosis model produced by this method has histological changes similar to human liver cirrhosis, with significantly increased portal vein pressure and a certain degree of portal body traffic diversion.

This model is suitable for research on drug treatment and screening for aplastic anemia.
