Jiangsu Xietong Pharmaceutical Bio-Engineering Co.,Ltd.(short for Xietong Shengwu), founded in November 1997, is located in Guli Industrial Park, Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is a new and high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, production and sales of lab animal diets and supplies. In January 2020, Xietong Bio-engineer ing (Yangzhou) Co.， Ltd. (short for - Xietong angzhou) was estabished, which is now located at No. 20, Zaolin Road, Industrial Concentra tion Zone, Maji Town, Yizheng City, - Yangzhou City.

The company's factory covers an area of more than 40 acres, with a construction area of more than 45000 square meters, and a total annual production capacity of more than 150000 tons, which can meet the global demand for experimental animal feeding. In order to build a digital and intelligent factory, collaborative biology will deepen the integration of the two technologies, and MES manufacturing execution system will be introduced to realize traceability of raw materials, monitoring of production and traceability of products. A visual intelligent kanban system will be built to observe the dynamic data of each system in real time through kanban, thus comprehensively improving the company's production efficiency and ensuring stable and consistent products.
The company has passed ISO9001:2015 The Quality Management Systems Regis tration, ISO14001 The Environment Management Systems Registration, ISO22000 The Food Safety Management Systems Certification and ISO45001 The Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Registration. Xietong Bio-engineering (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd.
Xietong Bio-engineering (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd. in January 2020 intelligent upgrade of the new 100000-ton experimental animal food production line, the plant covers an area of more than 30 acres, the construction area of more than 30000 square meters. The first phase of the factory was completed at the end of March 2023, with an office area of more than 6500 square meters and a production area of 9000 square meters, including 2000 square meters of raw material warehouse, 500 square meters of packaging material warehouse, 1000 square meters of finished product warehouse and 3500 square meters of workshop. At present, it has been officially put into operation.
Collaborative Biology Research Institute
In 2018, the company established a special research and development institution - Xietong Research Institute.The total number of R&D team is 39. Among them, masters and doctors account for 53.57% who are deeply engaged in animal nutrition, veterinarian medicine, food science, biopharmaceutical and other keyfields. The institute has 3 scientific and technological innovation platforms, including Nanjing Laboratory Animal Food Engineering Technology Research Center, Nanjing Laboratory Animal Nutrition and Disease Model Engineering
Research Center, and Laboratory Accreditation Certification of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment. The Institute focus on the development of lab animal standard diets, disease models/customize diets, beddings and welfare products. For now, it has developed more than 50 innovative products and more than 5,000 formulations for customers. As of April 2024, the company has obtained 55 patents granted, including 5 invention patent, 48 utility model patents and 2 appearance patents. The institute published more than 100 papers. In April 2024, the diets induced metabolic disease models have passed the appraisal organized by Jiangsu Productivity Promotion Association, which proves these diets reaches the "domestic leading level".
